Join us for our August CBSHRM Webinar: Pandemics, Politics, and People - How HR is Changing

Presented by: Reanette Fillmer

Pandemics, Politics, and People:  The new HR  - There is no doubt the last 6 months has challenged us all in the workplace.  To say that one department has been impacted more than another is impossible.  It has been a full few months of Pandemic, Politics and People.

Today, HR is needing to make a huge shift that we likely never saw coming, and you might even see it as, exhausting.  The shift in HR is going to be the new norm, and we have to accept this and move forward, but how?  We will talk about how.

The pandemic has played into politics and affecting the people - their opinions, relationships, and attitudes inside and outside the workplace and definitely on social media.
Diversity and Inclusion have become a headline in today's news and HR will need to redirect their attention to address this quickly.

Politics is making its way into the workplace and we are seeing dynamics around this that are playing into relationships and perceptions.  How do we identify the political factor and how do we address it so that work is a neutral place to be?

This seminar will draw attention to where our focus needs to be and how we personally will need to change our outlook to coach employees, managers, and executives on handling the new norm.  It will direct HR to recreate itself and launch new idea.  HR has changed and how we address issues, identify the changing dynamics, and coach employees will be crucial.  Let's take some time to talk.
