 Overview:

The amount of veteran and military organizations in the United States can be extremely overwhelming when presented with the challenging task to design, enhance and/or implement a “Human Resources Veterans Initiative” for a company. With all the government and non-profit organizations, who and what considerations should I use as an employer to determine who to partner with and/or to support financially on behalf of the company as it relates to hiring, social responsibility and staying in legal compliance regarding veterans in the workforce. You will be provided a roadmap on how to best tackle this topic.

Following the event you'll have an opportunity to interact and meet with Federal, State, and local partners, including: 

• U.S. Department of Defense: Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR)
• WA State: Employment Security Department (ESD) and “Yes VETS” program
• King County: Veteran Services
