Christine Zinter is an associate w

Christine spent over 20 years working as an employee benefits
consultant until the changes made by the ACA inspired to her go to law scho
ol. Graduating in 2015 with a Certificate in Health Law from St. Louis Univ
ersity’s nationally-recognized Health Law Program, her legal experience inc
ludes several years as a compliance attorney for a Fortune 100 pharmacy ben
efit management firm specializing in Medicaid and Exchange products. Wantin
g to return to her roots in the Pacific Northwest (she is a Portland native
), she moved to Kennewick and joined The Cicotte Law Firm in November 2019.
Ms. Zinter brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expe
rience with employee benefit plan rules and regulations including ERISA, th
e ACA, state insurance laws and mandates, and the multiple other Federal an
d state regulations that employee benefit plans are subject to. She has als
o become the firm’s Go-To person for all the new COVID-19 regulations and o
ngoing legal developments.
In addition to her JD she holds
an MBA from the University of Washington, a CEBS designation from the Inter
national Foundation, is a member of SHRM, the National Association of Healt
h Underwriters (NAHU), and the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). I
n her spare time, Christine enjoys game nights, travel, and hanging out wit
h her two German Shepherds and way too many cats.
