In this presentation we will review the generational influences for each of the five generations in the workplace, share some of the latest research conducted on the subject and lead the group through a brief exploration of what we as HR Professionals can do to support and develop our line managers and what and how we can contribute to our local job seekers.

Josie Villa is a Human Resources Manager at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory where she leads a team of field deployed HR professionals who deliver human resources management services. Josie has over 30 years of experience in the field of HR. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Social Science and Psychology from Washington State University. She is a certified international coach, speaker and trainer for the John Maxwell Team, specializing in leadership development. She’s also an active community member sharing her HR expertise with various organizations across the Tri-Cities.
